This policy explains how S2L Projects (Pty) Ltd, trading as Lowveld Auto Panel and Paint (“we”), collects and uses personal information through this website, as required by the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

• Quote requests: your name, company, role, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, claim or assessment number, vehicle details, VIN or registration, delivery location, and any estimate or parts list you upload.
• Contact form: your name, email address and message.
• WhatsApp, phone and email: whatever you choose to send us.
• Website use: basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type, kept in server logs. If we add website statistics (Google Analytics), they will record which pages are visited.

Estimates you upload may contain personal information about vehicle owners, such as names and registration numbers. Please only send what we need to quote the parts.

Why we use it

• To prepare and send your quote, process your order and deliver the parts.
• To invoice you and keep the accounting records the law requires.
• To answer your questions and follow up on quotes you asked for.

We do not sell your information. We only share it where needed to fulfil your order, for example with a courier for delivery, or when the law requires it. When we source a part from a supplier, we share only the part number.

How long we keep it

Quote requests that do not become orders are deleted after 12 months. Orders and invoices are kept for 5 years, as required by South African tax law.

How we protect it

Quote requests are emailed to our sales team and stored on our password-protected website. Access is limited to staff who need it to serve you.

Your rights

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact our Information Officer using the details above. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Information Regulator: inforegulator.org.za.

The site uses cookies only to make it work (for example, to keep forms secure). If we add website statistics, we will update this policy.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
